Import your LinkedIn history

Your career and education history gives the Story Agent a head start. We read your LinkedIn export CSV — no password, no app connection required. Your raw data is never stored. Right now this imports career positions and education onto your Life Timeline — certifications and recommendations aren't processed yet.

Go to LinkedIn Settings

Visit linkedin.com → Me → Settings & Privacy → Data Privacy → Get a copy of your data. You don't need to give LinkedIn any reason.

Select "Want something in particular?"

Choose at least Positions and Education (the rest is fine to leave unchecked for now). Then click Request archive.

Wait for the email (usually under 10 minutes)

LinkedIn will email you a download link. The ZIP file contains the CSV files we need. You don't need to open the ZIP — just drag it here, or upload the individual CSV files.
